rates for a photographic commission
a commission usually starts with a conversation.
we'll discuss what your needs are, what you are looking for and if i'm the right photographer for the job. this pre-session consultation is free.
once all your questions are answered and are ready to proceed, i charge a booking fee of $200 for the first two hours (including setup time). extended hours, given availability, are available for an added charge.
after the shoot there is a $50 digital processing fee that includes basic image management, retouching, web gallery presentation, and a basic print package.
From there I charge for extra prints, advanced retouching and for other services and products based on your needs.
the booking fee is paid up front via the store. all other items are settled after shoot and when we have the results of our collaboration in hand.

a photo commission- $250
- booking - start with $200 for a 2 hour session
- digtial processing - $50 for digital processing, web gallery, retouch, archiving your selects for 1 year
- prints - a basic commission package includes four 5x7 prints, one 8x10 and one 11x14 print (each of your own choice). Extra prints are available (see price list).
other services - by agreement
- framing - framing and matting services are available upon request.
- mounting - Matteboard, foamcore, canvas prints - prices available upon request
- greeting cards - greeting cards with an image of your choice, in packs of 10 for $15. a great way to send thank you notes, holiday greetings or for other events.
- gift certificates - give gift certificates for services and prints - what a great way to give something s
- portfolio box - prints delivered in a black portfolio box - up to 11x14 $25, up to 16x20 - $45
you may also give a personalized gift voucher as a gift to another person. the voucher comes in a presentation card along with detailed information on the package. These are available in the online store...
Other expenses can be discussed based on your needs. these can include a professional make up artist, specialist equipment/props, wardrobe etc.
